Paper Inbox
As a parent with a school aged children, I tried keeping up with the all the emails from the school, updates, newsletters, PTAs, fundraisers, but it was too easy for some to slip through the net and miss out on some important event.
Moreover it wasn’t very enjoyable reading through endless PDFs on my phone. For a while I tried to just raw dog it, but made me dread receiving yet another one. There had to be a better way.
So I created Paper Inbox, it lets you lift the signal from the noise, by automatiaclly printing out email paper copies from senders you actually care about.
Paper Newsletters
Instead of dreading to receive another email, the mere fact of having them automatically printed into physical copies has both helped me to stay on top of important events and surprisingly sparked some old school joy, similar to receiving a personal letter through your letterbox.
Installation
I wanted to make it as easy as possible to install, so other people could also benefit. You can do a simple pip install:
